Born and raised in Canadian, Texas, Jeremi Young has practiced law from offices in downtown Amarillo since 2005 after relocating from Dallas. With over a decade of experience in a wide variety of legal matters, Mr. Young represents clients involved in business litigation, personal injury and wrongful death claims, employment law matters (with a focus on wage and hour matters), construction and real estate matters, contested probate and trust cases. Clients in the Panhandle rely on Mr. Young’s trial experience, his extensive legal knowledge, and his ability to achieve results through innovative solutions.
Mr. Young earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Starting his legal career in Dallas, he has been practicing in Texas since 1999. As a recognized authority on a wealth of legal topics, Mr. Young regularly speaks to legal and business groups throughout the country. He is also an active member of many local and national legal organizations, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Amarillo Area Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Mr. Young previously served as President of the Amarillo Area Young Lawyers Association and as a Director of the Amarillo Area Bar Association.
